Vicar’s Message

Blessings St. George’s community,

It is a not-so-accidental wonder that the church’s calendar and the earth’s calendar in the Northern Hemisphere are coinciding right now. During All Saints and All Souls, when we remember our beloved dead and our forebears in faith, salmon are returning from the ocean to the streams where they were born, leaves are showing the vivid red and gold that hides beneath the green all year, bears and squirrels grow fat and nights grow long. I pray that in this season we attend to the wisdom of creation, slow down, rest and notice the gifts of this dark season.

wild blessings,

Rev. Laurel
