Deacon’s Message

Our journey through Lent is almost done. This Sunday is the Fifth Sunday in Lent – the last Sunday before we enter into Holy Week. How has your Lent been?

As I write this I can look out my window and see the rain pouring down as another atmospheric river passes over us. And I find myself reflecting on truth and consequences. Our failure to take action on Climate Change means that our weather is getting more extreme. As a result we’re having to deal with more and more weather related issues.

When we fail to think about the consequences before taking action, or in some cases NOT taking action, we hurt ourselves and creation.
